5. Dil Chahta Hai

This film takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions a tale of love, friendship, heartbreaks. After Dil Chahta hai, many such buddy dramas came in Bollywood, but no movie can take this 2001 gem.

The brilliant cast – Aamir, Saif and Akshay Khanna turned out to be one of the most legendary trios. All thanks to Farhan Akhtar for this soul-touching directorial debut. It’s there on Netflix.

6. Swades

For all of them and Indian parents who deny accepting any imperfection in their children, this film is a must-watch.

10. Article 15

Even today, when we call ourselves progressive and liberal, caste system and discriminations on its basis still exist in India. In this direction, this film has been a really courageous approach by Anubhav Sinha.

This film’s protagonist is an IPS officer who embarks upon the journey of revealing the truth of crimes in rural India.

One must see these harsh realities, the struggles of poor lower-caste people, and for this, Article 15 is the best option. It’s there on Netflix.
